Hi guys,

Somehow I turned into a lurker here!

WA was my introduction to making money online.

I literally typed "make money online" into Google
when I was living in a little studio apartment in
the Dominican Republic last year... and WA came
up.

I came across Travis's review page... and he's
been receiving a commission every month since

It took me more than a month to make my first
sale... but after that, I was hooked!

I learned a lot about everything that's taught
here in WA... but to be honest, I didn't do that
great with it.

The best I got to was pretty much breaking even
with AdWords

But that didn't really matter... because I was
LEARNING.

I listened to the smart cookies in this forum... and
learned how to MARKET.

I followed one of my STRENGTHS, writing, and
turned that into a service that funded my
"education."

Then things started getting really, really good...
I started creating my own products, learning
copywriting, getting JVs, traveling to seminars,
and on and on...

To the point where, last month, I was able to
gross more than $13,000

It's not consistent yet... I'll probably make less
this month because of taking time off for the
holidays... but I'm now able to make a full time
income from my online ventures.

Now I'm thinking of moving to Brazil to live on
the beach

Maybe I can be a bit more helpful, too...

Most of my revenue came from putting myself in
the right position by honing my skills and making
myself valuable to other people.

If you think about it, we all start out from scratch,
right?

So you have to do something to make yourself
stand out!

I decided to concentrate on copywriting... but it
could be SEO, or PPC, or affiliate marketing, or
any other area of specialized knowledge...

I became a valuable partner because of my
knowledge and contacts... which led to some
great deals that enabled me to monetize my
skills.

Leverage is a very powerful thing

Wow Congratulations Brian!

First off, congrats on your amazing success

It's funny, i was reading a post the other day about a guy who had been at this 3 months and was averaging $700 a day

Although i was happy for his success it made me feel like i was falling behind as i am averaging about $80 a day and have been doing IM for about the same amount of time

Then i read a post about another guy who had been doing this for 4 months and had only made 2 sales and was thinking about quitting

Then i felt like i was maybe doing ok

Then i read posts like this and feel like im falling behind again, but it is definately inspiring to hear all the success stories and it makes me want to catch up

I heard a great phrase the other day "i seem to have great luck when i work hard"

In this case it seems to be very true

Well done on your success again

Hope you manage to make that move to Brazil soon

Your post is a great inspiration! I too am a writer with experience in Copy, Technical and Business writing, as well as Editing. I am in my second week of my WA membership, and am voraciously consuming as much information as I can. I know this can be a detriment, but I am anxious to get started making money. I agree that making oneself valuable to others can be lucrative.
