Beware Of Scams

beware of scams

It’s not surprising that Internet is brimming with scammers of all colors. Especially–in the “make money” arena.

Unfortunately for most people it’s not so easy to tell, who is who. Scammers are masters of persuasion and know exactly which buttons to press to get your money.

Having said that, most scammers exhibit common signs to look out for:

  • Nearly all of them will have unrealistic promises of making you loads of cash overnight.

  • Their favorite words are, easy, effortless, no sweat, quick and etc…

  • They will use glamour pictures of cars, boats, mansions and exotic beaches to sucker you into their scheme.

I am utterly disgusted with the amount of “crap” out there online–solely put together to take people’s money without giving anything of value in return.

Here are some of the widely known scams to avoid at all costs:

Paid Surveys

These are the most parasitic sites online to date. They seem to spread all over the net faster than celebrity sex tapes. Don’t be fooled by that comfy-looking blond girl in pajamas at her laptop with a hot cup of coffee, making it seem like she is raking in hundreds a day by filling out some forms.

Trust me, those are some of the most clever scams since the days of the infamous Nigerian E-mail Scam!

Cash Gifting

This one is fairly a new phenomenon. It’s an evil offspring of a Multi-Level-Marketing concept. However, this scheme has no products or consumers. It’s just plain exchange of cash in a pyramid-type of way.

Yeah, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds. I know it may seem tempting, after all, it's raw cash we're talking about...

Common sense would suggest that there is always a catch and there is no such thing as money for nothing (or chicks for free).

MLM or Multi Level Marketing

Although not all of the Multi Level Marketing programs are scams, majority of them are. And the ones that aren’t, are a big waste of your time at best.

One of the most respected direct-response marketing geniuses of all time by the name of Gary Halbert put it best:

“Multi-Level Marketing Sucks!

It sucks big time. It's dorky, it's dangerous, it's sleazy and it's stupid. It is a magnet for slime. It is true that not every product sold by multi-level marketing is inferior. It is also true not every person involved in this nonsense is unethical.

I must admit there are some (very few) good products and some (very few) good people involved in this insanity. However, even though it sometimes involves good products and good people...

Multi-Level Marketing Is Always Stupid!

The whole idea of MLM is stupid. It's also depressing. What's more, MLM has something in common with a pretty woman, which is...

Both Of Them Can Lower Your I.Q.!”

There are plenty more scams surfacing every single day from every imaginable direction. Use common sense and learn how to identify scammers by the common signs I gave you earlier.
